Took my mom out to Farmington Bay to bounce around in the mud and the muck and came across this American Kestrel having the lunch special of the day
~Organic Mouse ~
He was quite content for me to watch him devour this little morsel until I tried to get out of the car to get a better picture when he decided to do take out instead.

The American Kestrel if you click on the link you hear the sounds they make.

Still waiting to hear if my external hard dive with my bazillion pictures stored on it has been saved. So until I find out about that I am plugging along waiting to get the computer in to get it fixed. My monitor is making it very hard to edit photos unless I use gentle persuasion that consists of banging, kicking and cussing.

i know that I gush all over you every single time I come to check your blog. You not only take great photos but you also know all about your subject matter. "American Kestrel"? I would have called it a bird. You are awesome.
What a cute little bird, such beautiful colors! But that donkey, that is adorable!
Oh no, computer troubles are NOT good! I sure hope you can save your images! These latest offerings are just darling.
