FOOTBALL

Earlier we went to watch Alex's team in the play off tournament to see which team would be going to the Mini Super Bowl game, when you get to this point you are playing against some pretty evenly matched teams it was one of the most exciting games of the year, not only were they tied at the end they went into over time four times! Who would have thought these little players could play that hard to win and they did, unfortunately Alex's team lost. It was heartbreaking to see these little guys faces as they came off the field. As we were leaving we went to tell Alex what a great game it had been, when a coach from another team told Alex "What a great game he had played and that he should hold his head high because he had nothing to be ashamed about." I think that about sums it all up.
Your team played great.

The Visitors

Kacy and her girls and I went to the cemetery to put some pumpkins on Dad's grave yesterday it was cold and windy so we were not much for spending time. Hadley came fully decorated and Wesley was her spunky little self. Then Dennis and I returned later about sundown to see if we could spot the big bucks that tend to hang out there but all I captured was this young buck. (And yes I did alter the little poem)

Beauty That Surrounds Me

We had our first cold front move through here yesterday which means that our summer is finally over and winter will soon be here. We have put off working on the living room because it has been to much fun to play this summer. Dennis promised when it rained he would get busy finishing up the mortar in the brick(the only good thing about rain!) , just a little bit left on the fireplace to get done then I can go pick out paint and get busy myself. We went to AJ's game yesterday it got off to a ruff start but they got their act together and won. They finally got their first touchdown on the last down when the ref said they did not make it the only problem was I had snapped the picture showing that they did make it. O well they came back stronger and made three touchdowns after that! Most of these pictures were taken at sundown with the cold air and rain the colors which had faded came back alive.
