Topaz Black&White Effects

I have been trying out the Topaz Black&White Effects software, you can try it out for thirty days and decide if you want to buy it so I thought I would give a whirl. I love black an white but I still love color so I have been going back through some of my photos trying this product out. You can let back in a little color or or not you have the choice. That is the dilemma to many choices.... it just like some women with shoes they have a pair in every color.

Yeah, I can see where it would be extremely tough to choose. What did you decide? Is the program a keeper?

I love all of these, but especially the second one where you added the little bit of color. It looks like a beautiful painting. The black and white reminds me of the old time snapshots, just clearer and more defined and is really good for a change. Good job!

photography is so foreign to me and these pictures really amaze me! I think it is fabulous to see what you can do and how the effect can change when you change color.. have fun!!

I have that program in my Nik arsenal of tools! I adore it! I used it for the old country store photo recently. The dramatic black and white of the ruins in New Mexico was also done with it. Great for selective color and adding structure with control points. I am a HUGE fan of the Nik software products. We bought the whole suite last year from B&H Photo and got it at a terrific sale price. One of the best purchases I've ever made!
