Christmas 2010

Wesley got these cute little leopard pants but decided they worked much better as a scarf around her neck.

This photo blanket was one of my favorites gifts this year can you guess why?

And I am now a proud owner of a pair of spurs... I have gotten through my life with out them never gave much thought about needing them but I have been told they are a part of every cowboys wardrobe. I feel sorry for the first horse I get to practise with.

Hard to believe that 37 years ago today which is Dennis's birthday ( or closer to death day has he calls them) my Dad walked me down the aisle.

I came across this picture and fell in love with it's words.

Happy Anniversary. It is a huge milestone in today's world to be married that long. I pray for the day Mike and I can say the same.
Love the blanket, such a cute idea. Looks like a great Christmas!

Dear Cousin....There are many beautiful facets in your post today. First, and least important but very interesting....every single nook in your home is a treasure hunt. So beautiful and so interesting, and I know that you probably made most of it yourself.
Second,.....beautiful grandchildren, beautiful Christmas season, and beautiful quilt. Yes, I am so jealous.
Third,.....love the photo of you and your dad. How young and happy you both were.....and Dennis, too, no matter how much he protests. Crazy guy.
Fourth, and my most favorite..... the definition of a long, happy marriage. You are a genius at finding the perfect touch, the perfect feeling for any given subject. Love is basically how much you grow together and how comfortable and right it feels. Love to both you and Dennis. You and your family are the great American example of 'doing it well'.
