This little quilt was made for Dennis by his grandmother Afton. She would make one side pink and one side blue that way these little quilts would work no matter what. It is in pretty good shape considering it is at least 56 years old now.
Mike pulled out an old quilt that his Grandpa had in his garage, and then gave to us for our car. We both couldn't believe it was just sitting in the garage. He asked me the other day, "Do you think your Aunt Clydene would know what to do with this?". How precious that their are keepsakes around to add just that much more meaning in our lives.
Such a precious photo of a huge generational gap of years being bridged so sweetly....woman to woman, great-great-grandmother to great-great-granddaughter. This quilt and photo should go to her on her wedding day 22 years from now.

What a precious little angel. Love the hair thing too-and especially love that it stays on her head!!! :)
