Speaking of dandelions....in Alaske the growing season is short (barely three months) but the sunlight is all day long. The dandelions are huge, like bushes, and are gorgeous. They are used in gardens as flowers. I developed a whole new appreciations for dandelions. AND, people eat them!

Love the pics. The Chinese traditionally use dandelion to treat digestive disorders, appendicitis, and breast problems (such as inflammation or lack of milk flow).

I like the word Dandelions, we call them 'Paardenbloem' Horseflower in English. The green of the plant we call horse lettuce. We feed that to the rabbits who love it! Don't know if horses like it as well....
