You can't catch me!
Snapped a few pictures of Noah and Hadley last Saturday trying to capture Noah was not an easy task. I bet 70% of his pictures are nothing but a little blond blur. That little grin he has on his face in this last picture is a total crack up to me.

Ruth Spencer
Ruth was one of my dad's older sisters do not know much about her other than she took good care of my Dad when he was young. She had died around the age of 18 she had worked out side in the heat of a summer day and had gotten sun burned. I was told that she had died because of it. Dad lost another sister when she was about 8 due to a bad heart and another baby was born dead due to a bad delivery. The heartache my Grandmother had to endure.
Ruth had started to take art classes and for some reason she took my dad along with her he was around the age of seven. The art teacher let my dad participate in the class , he would draw his art on the back of recycled cardboard boxes. As far as I know this the only thing we have of Ruth's.
Another story tells about Ruth is taking him to the zoo it was a day of fun for my Dad he really appreciated the fact that she took time just for him.
His father was a hard man I guess you could say birthdays, holidays were never made special. So for Christmas I took Dad's art work and framed it up for him. I get such a chuckle when I had called my friend to come down to look at the art my Dad had done as a child. She had envisioned the usual scribblings of a child and could not figure out why I had gone to such bother, well I bet you can see why now. When Dad opened up the gift the first thing he said was "I think I painted these pictures"

What a wonderful spring day we had here it is great to see the earth awaken after its long winter nap. Kacy came up yesterday and tried to talk me through Photo Shop I found it mind boggling and frustrating so while I tried to learn a few tricks Hadley entertained herself with my make up which was great for it gave me some practice at getting some colorful pictures.

Rosie The Riveter
Photos of The Day
Mack and I went on a photo binge hitting two cemeteries, one hike that I knew we would be safe from snakes for I was sure they would still be hibernating but we were stopped dead in our tracks when the red mud of Morgan got so caked on our feet we gave up or at least I gave up Mack would have continued. We drove to a dam and then out into wide open country where the sky was for ever blue. Found on old building that I guess you can tell I could not get enough of. Mack took my camera for a spin and got some great shots also, either by standing up through the sun roof or hanging out the window she is a photo hog, we had a great time even if it came to pushing and shoving to see who would get the best picture.
