Little S" Tinker

I have had my share of run-ins with these little creatures but this one is just to cute . This is a quilt made by a man named David Taylor. I love his quilts, he can even capture the twinkle in this little goats eyes. Go look at his gallery of quilts and click on the detailed stitching that he does they are remarkable.

We had a goat growing up, but it had gotten to a point of who was going to survive. Mom finally got tired of being bullied by this goat and we loaded him up in the back seat of the car one day and took him for a ride . Mom found someone who would take the little bounder off her hands. One thing I learned is to never loose eye contact with a goat.

It is phenomenal what people can do with thread and cloth. This goat is so perfect. You should visit the Nat'l Quilt Museum. It is truly and eye-opening excursion. I always thought of quilts as being kind of patchwork 'til I visited the museum. Thanks for sharing your story and the quilt.

I remember that dang goat - he ate EVERYTHING!! You are certainly a treasure to share your talents and your stories. I don't know if it's my age or selective blocking, but I'll live thru your adventures.
