In between sawdust and dirt I have been able to fit a few football and soccer games in.
AJ, Evan and Paige are participating in team sports again this season.

Eating some bugs along the way is helpful for sure.
We have also suffered our first loss from the farmyard,
Dennis found that our mother hen had been killed by a dog.
Her baby chicks seem to be doing well on their own.
Ever since Kyleigh found out that the mother hen was killed she has been bound and determined to catch one of those chicks. Well last night she finally succeeded after many attempts she finally was able to hold one. I just wish I would have recorded all the squealing that took place as she has learned that baby chicks can run very fast.

Great pictures of the sport games. Little Miss Khloe is getting big and looks just like you! Love the chicken photo's but sorry to read you lost one hen. Hope you got some serious work done at the house, did you move into it yet?
I am disappointed in myself to see how many of your blog posts I have missed. What in the world have I been doing this past month to not notice your postings?! All those gorgeous photos, all the poultry and horses, and the exciting youth sports photos.....I love them all. My favorite photo and the most endearing was the photo of your dad, Uncle Clyde, standing in the new garden. What a blessed moment of your life and heritage you captured in that one shot. Keep up the great work. I am looking forward to seeing photos of your renovated, new home.
