Dennis and I went on a quick ride up onto the Wasatch mountains last weekend. It was a little nippy at first but warmed up very nicely.
This has been the first time I have been riding since October.
And the eagles were plentiful !
This is the first time in my life that I have seen so many at once even with our trips to Alaska.
Dennis used his rabbit call to lure them in closer
but has you can see
for the most part they were out of my range.
We came across at least thirty head of deer scrambling up the mountain side.
The remains of a deer is nothing new to us but this was a little interesting, the hide had been taken off and drug down into some scrub oak along with the other skeletal remains.
But this is what made it interesting was the scat that had been deposited .
So if any of you can guess that scat, let me know what kind of animal you think left the clue.
