We have been living in a deep freeze now for at least six weeks. Most winters we have a thaw out period when we get rid of most the snow before a new storm brings us fresh snow.
But between the 2 to 3 feet of snow then it was topped off with a frozen rain it has not wanted to budge the icicles have hung on also.

Marvelous how the light shines through the icicles. That freezing weather does something beautiful to nature!

I like all the photos however I like the last one best. I think because you took it just at the right moment with the sun hitting it.
